Doug Quara will be participating in a track day at Sebring, the famed 3.7 mile road course, internationally known for stirring races between Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Audi, and numerous others.  The track day will be on the long 12-Hour race course.

Sebring International RacewayThe event is hosted by Chin Track Days ( for more info).

Doug has arranged for lunchtime parade laps where club members can drive their car on the track, paced by a lead car.  Also, lunch is available from the on-site caterer, which usually offers BBQ pork, burgers, and grilled chicken sandwiches.

In addition, club members can purchase a passenger wristband, and ride with any solo-qualified driver at the event.  Doug (and likely  Doug Jr.) will be instructing this day, and will be driving our 1990 Track Rat Miata, a race-prepared former Spec Miata racer.  We welcome club members to purchase a wristband and ride with us at speed.  Those purchasing a passenger wristband can ride in other cars, too, with solo-qualified drivers.

There is no cost for parade laps.  Lunch sandwiches are typically in the $7-10 range.  Passenger wristbands have historically been $20-30.

Come out and watch, drive the parade lap, or even ride with one of us during a hot session.  Chin Track Days attracts many fast entrants, including professional race teams using the sessions as test sessions, so there is usually a large variety of street cars, modified street cars, all the way to purpose-build race cars, making for an interesting spectacle.
