1990 1.6l 5-speed MX-5 for sale: $2,999 *SOLD*

For Sale: 1990 Miata 1.6 liter 5-speed: $2,999

Buying a home, so need to sell one of my toys…

Bridgestone RE11s with 50% tread on stock NB rims that are very clean.

Odo says 154,xxx, but engine was swapped out with a long nose (VIN shows it’s supposed to be short), so less miles on engine. Body is in good condition, some minor dings here and there, but no major body issues. Runs like a top. Shifts smooth.

Cold AC, power windows/locks, power steering, cruise control, factory headrest speakers, spare tire in trunk. All lights work.

Mods/accessories: Nardi steering wheel, Roadster side sill plates, carbon fiber shorty antenna, Sony cd/radio w/ detachable faceplate, lucky clover key, body colored rear trunk spoiler, vintage-looking side mirrors, chrome style bar, Momo shift knob, Tokico suspension, K&N air intake, smoked front turn signals, LED bright white reverse lights, tint on side windows, aftermarket air horn, 1 year old soft top, rear brakes/rotors replaced last year.

Curtis at Motion Motorsports has done some work with the car for a few years. He rebuilt the alternator, replaced the compressor, swapped dashboard.

Car has a remote start (found out the hard way when it inadvertently started and smashed the front bumper in my garage, hence the different colored bumper) as well as clutch lock out (one of the previous owners did this so you could remotely start a manual tranny car–NOT my idea!).

The minor issues: trunk needs to be manually lifted as it won’t stay up on it’s own (cheap fix: latch for $30), paint isn’t perfect in places, seats are worn but not terrible (currently has covers as dog rides with me a lot), has that Miata starter issue (may take a couple tries, but eventually starts), and a cracked gauge hood.

Car has been nothing but reliable. Been a daily driver and done over 10 autocrosses with it, with NO issues.

Clean title in hand.
